• Candidates must have a valid mobile number and email id. Please note this email and mobile number will be used for all of your future references.
उम्मीदवारों के पास एक वैध मोबाइल नंबर और ईमेल आईडी होना चाहिए। कृपया ध्यान दें कि यह ईमेल और मोबाइल नंबर आपके भविष्य के सभी संदर्भों के लिए उपयोग किया जाएगा।
• After payment of application fee, form cannot be edited. Hence, make sure to verify all the details in the application form before making payment.

• Keep scanned copy of photo, signature and other documents ready before applying.
आवेदन करने से पहले फोटो, हस्ताक्षर और अन्य दस्तावेजों की स्कैन कॉपी अपने पास रख लें।
• After submission of application form, take a print out of the same. Printed copy of form along with self-attested copies of academic records (marksheets, passing certificates, Transfer Certificate etc) and other documents (caste certificate, quota certificate, PwD certificate etc) must be kept safe to present to the University when asked.
आवेदन पत्र जमा करने के बाद उसी का प्रिंट आउट ले लें। शैक्षणिक रिकॉर्ड (मार्कशीट, पासिंग सर्टिफिकेट, ट्रांसफर सर्टिफिकेट आदि) की स्व-सत्यापित प्रतियों और अन्य दस्तावेजों (जाति प्रमाण पत्र, कोटा प्रमाण पत्र, पीडब्ल्यूडी प्रमाण पत्र आदि) के साथ फॉर्म की मुद्रित प्रति विश्वविद्यालय के प्रस्तुत के लिए सुरक्षित रखी जानी चाहिए।
For Registration: Some steps which have to be followed at the time of registration are given below:

• Step 1: Candidate is required to click on the below link

• Step 2: Then, candidate is required to click on the link “Apply Online”. A new window will open and the candidate has to select the course and click on the link “Click Here”.
चरण 2: फिर, उम्मीदवार को “Apply Online” लिंक पर क्लिक करना होगा। एक नई विंडो खुल जाएगी और उम्मीदवार को पाठ्यक्रम का चयन करना होगा और लिंक "Click Here" पर क्लिक करना होगा।
• Step 3: If the candidate is a registered user, then can enter with appropriate Login ID and Password.
चरण 3: यदि उम्मीदवार एक पंजीकृत उपयोगकर्ता है, तो उपयुक्त लॉगिन आईडी और पासवर्ड दर्ज कर सकते हैं।
• Step 4: If the candidate is registering for the first time, he/she will be required to enter their Name, Date of Birth, Mobile Number, E-mail ID, Gender, and NAD ID.

• Step 5: After entering all these details, candidate will get a link on the registered e-mail with the Application Number and Password and the same will be sent to the candidate’s registered mobile number.
चरण 5: इन सभी विवरणों को दर्ज करने के बाद, उम्मीदवार को आवेदन संख्या और पासवर्ड के साथ पंजीकृत ई-मेल पर एक लिंक मिलेगा और इसे उम्मीदवार के पंजीकृत मोबाइल नंबर पर भेजा जाएगा।
Procedure of Online Application Form:

1. After getting registered successfully, candidate will be required to use that Username and Password which were sent to them and after logging in candidate will be able to fill the Application Form.

3. Candidates appearing for final year/final semester examinations of Post-Graduation course can also apply for PhD. Please note if the candidates are not getting the required percentage of marks as mentioned in the below eligibility criteria then they won’t be eligible for PAT 2021.
पोस्ट-ग्रेजुएशन कोर्स के अंतिम वर्ष / अंतिम सेमेस्टर परीक्षाओं के लिए उपस्थित होने वाले उम्मीदवार भी पीएचडी के लिए आवेदन कर सकते हैं। कृपया ध्यान दें कि यदि उम्मीदवार पात्रता मानदंड में उल्लिखित अंकों का आवश्यक प्रतिशत प्राप्त नहीं कर रहे हैं, तो वे PAT 2021 के लिए पात्र नहीं होंगे।
Eligibility:
A. Candidate seeking admission to the Ph.D. Programme should have a Master's Degree with at least 55% Marks in aggregate or its equivalent grade 'B' in the UGC 7 point scale (or an equivalent grade in point scale wherever grading system is followed) in the subject/in allied subject from recognized university.
B. A relaxation of 5% of marks i.e. from 55% to 50% or an equivalent relaxation of grade may be allowed for those belonging to SC/ST/BC/EBC/Differently-abled categories of candidates.
पात्रता:
A. पीएचडी में प्रवेश पाने के इच्छुक उम्मीदवार। कार्यक्रम में यूजीसी 7 पॉइंट स्केल में कुल 55% अंकों या इसके समकक्ष ग्रेड 'बी' के साथ मास्टर डिग्री होनी चाहिए (या ग्रेडिंग प्रणाली में जहां भी ग्रेडिंग सिस्टम का पालन किया जाता है) के बराबर / विषय में संबद्ध विषय में मान्यता प्राप्त से विश्वविद्यालय।
B. अनुसूचित जाति / अनुसूचित जनजाति / बीसी / ईबीसी / भिन्न-भिन्न श्रेणी के उम्मीदवारों के लिए 5% अंकों की छूट यानी 55% से 50% या ग्रेड के बराबर छूट की अनुमति दी जा सकती है।
Exemption from the PAT-2021:
A. Candidate who have passed NET/JRF/BET/PAT-2019/PAT-2020 of BRABU and/or have secured grants for research such as fellowship/scholarships offered by DBT/ICMRACAR/DST /CSSIR/RACHR etc. will be exempted from Ph.D. Admission Test.
B. Assistant Professor, Associate Professor and Professor who have been appointed on substantive post in the UGC Pay scale in the teaching Department of the University or a Constituent College of this University, who have completed their probation successfully, with an experience of at least of two years of uninterrupted service would be exempted from the Test. Teachers appointed in self-finance Courses and teachers belonging to those colleges running on self-finance basis will not be exempted from the Test.
C. Non-teaching employees of this University, who are holding substantive appointment for more than five years and have secured at least 55% marks in Master's Degree in the subject concerned, and have published at least two research papers in any reputed referred journals or journals identified by the UGC would also be exempted from the Test.
PAT-2020 से छूट:
A. वे अभ्यर्थी जिन्होंने बीआरबीयू के नेट / जेआरएफ / बीईटी / पीएटी-2019 / पीएटी-2020 और / या डीबीटी / आईसीएमआरएसीएआर / डीएसटी / सीएसएसआईआर / आरएसीएचआर आदि द्वारा दी गई फेलोशिप / छात्रवृत्ति जैसे अनुसंधान के लिए अनुदान प्राप्त किया है। पीएचडी से। प्रवेश परीक्षा।
B. सहायक प्रोफेसर, एसोसिएट प्रोफेसर और प्रोफेसर जिन्हें यूजीसी वेतनमान में विश्वविद्यालय के शिक्षण विभाग या इस विश्वविद्यालय के एक कांस्टीट्यूएंट कॉलेज में महत्वपूर्ण पद पर नियुक्त किया गया है, जिन्होंने कम से कम कम से कम अनुभव के साथ सफलतापूर्वक अपना प्रोबेशन पूरा कर लिया है। दो साल की निर्बाध सेवा को टेस्ट से छूट दी जाएगी। स्व-वित्त पाठ्यक्रम में नियुक्त शिक्षक और स्व-वित्त आधार पर चलने वाले उन कॉलेजों से संबंधित शिक्षकों को टेस्ट से छूट नहीं दी जाएगी।
C. इस विश्वविद्यालय के गैर-शिक्षण कर्मचारी, जो पांच साल से अधिक समय से लगातार नियुक्ति कर रहे हैं और संबंधित विषय में मास्टर डिग्री में कम से कम 55% अंक प्राप्त किए हैं, और किसी भी प्रतिष्ठित संदर्भित पत्रिकाओं में कम से कम दो शोध पत्र प्रकाशित किए हैं या यूजीसी द्वारा चिन्हित पत्रिकाओं को भी टेस्ट से छूट दी जाएगी।
Note: 01.: Candidates exempted from PAT:2021 are also required to apply online with requisite Fee.
Note: 02.: Candidates of exempted categories will have to appear directly before the interview board as per schedule, along with candidates who have qualified PAT 2021.
नोट: 01 .: पीएटी: 2021 से छूट प्राप्त उम्मीदवारों को भी अपेक्षित शुल्क के साथ ऑनलाइन आवेदन करना होगा।
नोट: 02 .: छूट प्राप्त श्रेणियों के अभ्यर्थियों को साक्षात्कार बोर्ड के समक्ष सीधे साक्षात्कार में उपस्थित होना होगा, साथ ही जिन उम्मीदवारों ने बीएटी 2021 उत्तीर्ण किया है।
Application Fee Details are as below:
General/BC/EBC - Rs. 3000/-
SC/ST/ EWS/Women/ Handicapped - Rs. 2000/-
Late Fine - Application Fee + Rs. 500/-
Ph.D. Admission Test (PAT-2021) shall be organized as per provisions contained in the Uniform Ordinance and Regulations issued by the Chancellor's Secretariat.
पीएच.डी. प्रवेश परीक्षा (PAT-2021) का आयोजन कुलपति के सचिवालय द्वारा जारी किए गए वर्दी अध्यादेश और विनियमों में निहित प्रावधानों के अनुसार किया जाएगा।
University will share the vacant seats of the subjects listed above and the Admission Test Date at a later stage.
विश्वविद्यालय ऊपर सूचीबद्ध विषयों की रिक्त सीटों और प्रवेश परीक्षा की तिथि को बाद के चरण में साझा करेगा।
Pattern of Test:-
Ph.D. Admission Test (PAT-2021) will consist of two papers of 100 marks each.
Paper-I - will be objective type on qualitative teaching and research aptitude and will carry 100 marks.
Paper-II – will also be objective type in the subject concern and will carry 100 marks. The syllabus of this paper shall be based as of UGC NET.
*There will be 50 questions in each paper and each question will carry 2 marks.
The University reserves the right to revise, amend, update, or delete any part of this Notice without giving any prior information/notice. Any change, so made, shall be updated on the University Website.

Applicants are advised to check the portal regularly for any admission update. Grievances resulting from not having visited the portal will not be entertained.

In case of non-compliance with any of the requirements for admission, including no submission of relevant documents and/or non-payment of Fee within the prescribed date and time, the applicant will lose his/her right to admission.

There are some points which a candidate should keep in mind before paying the application fee. These are some instructions which have to be followed by the candidate at the time of payment of the application fee. These instructions are given below:

1. After reaching on to the payment page, please select the mode of payment carefully.
भुगतान पृष्ठ पर पहुंचने के बाद, कृपया भुगतान के तरीके का चयन करें।
2. It is advised not to cancel / refresh payment page while processing.
यह सलाह दी जाती है कि प्रसंस्करण के दौरान भुगतान पृष्ठ को रद्द / ताज़ा न करें।
3. After making a successful payment, the page will redirect to the Application Form with your payment reference number.

If the application amount is deducted from the bank account but is not paid to the University, report to University via umissupport@brabu.edu.in. The email must include application id, mobile number and payment order number.
